Wedding Thank You's / Other practitioners

OUGD603.
WEDDING THANK YOU'S.
OTHER PRACTITIONERS.

ESZTER LAKI

WEDDING INVITATIONS / BRANDING

Do to the fact that my own wedding was based in a garden setting, I like the iclution of the flowers and other plants and almost re-creating the ethos and atmosphere of the day to take people back.
I also like the idea of making a stamp in order to be able to apply an aesthetic to multiple formats.

SHIRLEY HA

WEDDING INVITATIONS

I like how this design uses an illustrated floral display and also the combination of typography. Illustration is also something that I would like to do more of this year so this may be a god opportunity to utilise this. even though I takes quite a bit of time to create illustrations like this, Once they are complete they can applied in many different ways.

YOSUKA ANDO

WEDDING INVITATION

I really like the photographic aspect of this design and feel it add a whole new dimension and quality. Due to the fact that the pack will actually hold photographs to reminisce on the day, having the aesthetic also based on a photographic design may help to congeal the whole concept.

ZSOLT ZLEOVSZKI

WEDDING INVITATIONS

The laser cut wood may also be a good representation of the natural/garden aesthetic I want to achieve in regards to the style of the wedding. it also adds an almost 3D element.

I love the garden references here as well as the luxurious touch of the gold foil.

SZENDI  BRASSAI

WEDDING INVITATIONS

Even though this aesthetic is created through digital means, I still feel something like this would be in-keepng to the floral and garden theme that I want to stick by.

TESS REDBURN

SCREEN PRINT & FOIL BLOCKING

I want to test possibly foiling on to photographs to see what this would look like as it may be an interesting aesthetic and something that would look a bit different than the norm.

Extended Practice / 8 Briefs

OUGD603
CHOSEN BRIEFS.
EXTENDED PRACTICE.

1 / BONE BROTHS
BRANDING & IDENTITY  /  PACKAGING

This Brief is based on a job offer i received during the summer holidays. Luckily it ties in with getting back to collage so I thought that it would be a good brief to include. This is because I obviously have to stick to a time limit and structure when working for a real life client and this could also help me to arrange and carry out other pieces of work.

The client wants me to create a logo and a brand identity for there broth products as well as a packaging solution. For now, they are looking for a packaging design for a single product, however they wish to leave room for a possible growth in their product line.

WHAT THIS BRIEF INCLUDES
- Logo
- Packaging

The company have already chosen the packaging vessel they wish to use to hold the broth so it is up to me to make a design that not only presents the brand and its values but also suits the style of packaging they have chosen in order to keep their broth.

HOW I COULD PUSH THIS FURTHER
- Stationary / Business cards
- Promotional / recipe idea labels
- To show how the identity could spread across a range of products.

2 / LA BELLA
BRANDING & IDENTITY

La Bella is a brand new beauty and nail Salon that has opened in a village close to where I live in Yorkshire. The girl that has opened the shop is someone I used to go to school with so I decided to approach her and ask if I could use her new business as a basis for a design project. I felt it would be perfect as at the moment it is a very neutral little shop which means I would have a clean slate to work with a build on.

The fact that this nail shop is situated in a small village in Yorkshire may be something that i could play on and work with as it is a different dynamic to what Salons are usually seen as in larger cities and contexts.

WHAT THIS BRIEF INCLUDES:
- Creating a Brand and identity
- Logo
- A price list / Stationary

The business name 'la Bella' has already been chosen, however I might try and persuade the owner to possible change this in order to suit the aesthetic I aim to create after research and development. If not, this may alter the approach to the brief.

HOW I COULD PUSH THIS FURTHER
- Publication on procedure on offer
- Interior Decoration
- Possible Products to sell (care pack for nails).
- Promotional material (Newspaper add?)

3 / FOOTI CHICK
BRANDING & IDENTITY / PROMOTIO

This Brief is based on a sportswear brand that was up and running when I played football at the age from around 13/14 till about 20. As you can tell by the name, this brand was based on very stereotypical visions and even though I do admire that they tried to give the Woman's game of soccer a higher profile and attempted to gain a new individual identity, I feel that they went about it the wrong way regarding there concept and aesthetic.

I want to take this brand and completely re-brand and re-focus the aesthetic and appeal relying on the needs and preference to the women of the beautiful game.

WHAT THIS BRIEF INCLUDES:

- Branding and Identity
- Packaging
- Promotion

HOW I COULD PUSH THIS FURTHER:
- Create a campaign to get more girls involved.
- Promotional material / Possible Partnerships and endorsement.

the portfolio will have to include information of the education and experiences my brother has had as well as distils on his physical attributes accompanied with head-shots and other visuals that show off what his strengths with in industry are.

WHAT BRIEF INCLUDES:
- Branding & Identity / Business cards
- Packaging / deliverable by post

5 / EVERTON FC
BRANDING / PROMOTION / PACKAGING

This brief uses the Branding already apart of the Everton Football club and is applied to a gift set created for a special occasion. The gift pack would be designed for a fan and could be bought on the account and would contain items that would be specialised through the club.

The pack would include a match day ticket as part of one of the exclusive lounges as well as other memorabilia that can serve as gifts that are kept such as a tie, watch etc.

6 / WEDDING THANK YOUS
BRANDING / PACKAGING

Due to me not being able to do a lot when making designs and aesthetics for my wedding that took place in the Summer, I wanted to make a pack to send out to those that came in appreciation of them attending our special day. This idea was born out of many people that came asking to see photographs or inquiring about the music that was played through out the night.

The pack would include photographs from the day (possibly only including the ones that are of the recipients) and also maybe a digital format of the photographs and music used.

WHAT BRIEF INCLUDES.
- Packaging and bringing together of different items.
- A suitable and related aesthetic.

8 / WRESTLING PUBLICATIONS
BRANDING / PACKAGING

Developed from my interest in the different styles of professional wrestling, I would like to make a publication or a range of publications of the different cultures and traditions that make up these styles (American, Japanese & Mexican) and how they are distinctive with in the sport.

Each publication wil touch on and explain different aspects such as traditions, moves, Superstars and visuals and wil be designed in a suitable aesthetic to each style.
