ACTORS PORTFOLIO
DEVELOPMENT OF INSIDE PAGES.
I started by looking at the back page as this would be one of the simpler pages. This is were the contact details will be. I took one of my favourite images and started to lay type of the top similar to the front page of the fold out.
I made sure that the colours in each image remain consistent and also made sure that this was also the case for the layout by lining everything up accordingly.
I really like the layout of the back page and show it displays the full name of the actor. I played around with colour and layout.
Even through I really liked this layout, Somehow i didn't think it looked too much like the front, I feel that they look like to different designs.
To be honest I actually preferred the bcd page layout than the from one that i had created previously. I think it has a simpler and more professional appearance. I have to rein aware that an actors portfolio i something that has to be a lot more refined and simple than those that are use by graphic designers.

I stared to add these in to the document using the same layout as the one I had re-created for the front page.
I desided to change the colour of the background so that the images had more clarity to them. I also think that this helps the text stand out a lot more. These are pages 2 and 3 and are the pages that are seen once the leaflet is opened up initially. I think that by having the action shots in the background, this means that the head shots can be used as the focus for the main page inside. I also think that having all these different characters in the background as the recipient is reading really starts to build a picture about this individual.
This is the layout that I have finally come up with, I still want to add to it, but this is the basis I am looking to work with regarding the information pages of this document.

HEAD SHOT PAGE.
This is the composition of head shots that I decided to have on the inside pages. They all have something different about them such as the facial expression and the different angles of the face. I also have 2 in black and white, and 2 in colour.
Im happy with how this portfolio is working and I think its really suitable for its purpose. However, the idea I had about having each of the head shot panels being perforated won't work so well because this is going to be a double sided print. this means that the information pages will be on the back of each panel.
To get around this issue, i though that it could be a cool addition to have an insert that is attached in to the centre page that would have the a couple of head shots on and these could be the keepable version. I also think that this would be a good place to add in a business card
I created this business card design that works consistently with the aesthetic created for the portfolio itself.
I then created the insert using the 2 favourite images from the original portfolio. One is a headshot, the other is an action shot. One is black and white the other is colour.
I printed another tester to see how this would work and I'm really happy with the results. i thin this insert adds so much more to the document rather than it just being a simple fold out. It adds another layer which intern adds more character and professionalism which is an important thing when promoting ones self.
