BONE BROTHS / PART 2
COLOUR DEVELOPMENT.
I wanted to create another flavour to go with the range i had created already. To indicate the different flavours, I was using the colour of the front panel were the logo sits. The original beef one in navy blue, I wanted to make a chicken broth flavour and started to look at the different colours I could use for this.
I folded up the final test and colours to make sure everything looks ok. The main carton were difficult to fold the specialised flap that is at the top of the liquid broth pack. I had to practice folding this a couple of times because there were no lines to follow. I had to do it through testing and getting familiar with how the pack works.
I decided to use the darker red colour because I felt that this definitely fit in with the natural and organic feel I was looking to apply to all of the items in the range.
These are the colours I want to use for the beef and chicken flavours. I think that they work really well together because of the neutral and darker shade. This makes the illustrations pop and have a larger presence on each of the boxes.
Because this was my development I also decided to change the layout f the box and get rid of the two logos each side of the box. I then moved the usda label from the front, onto the side of the box instead.
