Bone Broths 2 / Talks with Tetra Pak

OUGD603 / EXTENDED PRACTICE
BONE BROTHS 2 / PACKAGING
TALKS WITH TETRA PAK.

The Tetra Pac offices are situated in Denton Texas. This is the initial email I sent to Tetra Pak.

Hi there,
I am a graphic designer currently working with a company that are using your packaging for their broth based produce.
The packaging they are wanting to use is the 'tetra recart' carton at 500ml. They have sent me the 1 page pdf that explains the net of the item, however I am confused on how I should arrange and set up a design correctly in order for it to be printed right. Do you guys have a pre-existing file I can arrange me work directly on to?
I am also still in education as a design student so I don't have very much experience with working to large scale manufacture so any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

At first I had issues with getting help from them because they had to make sure that I was working on behalf of a customer. This is due to copyright laws and restrictions on giving out information. Eventually this was cleared up and I was able to communicate with them clearly.
I found this really interesting and working along side a packaging company as well as with the Bone Broth company. It was a great experience and it was also a realisation that in the furtive i would have to work along side manufacturers. especially considering my interest in packaging design. This is something I hadn't really realised before as you usually concentrate on the relationship with the client rather than other outside sources.

After clearing up the issue of authenticity, I was forwarded to the Design coordinator. He emailed me through a key-line file of the 500ml packaging that I could start arranging my work into.

This is the file sent to me from the guys at Tetra pack. Its and illustrator file that will let me input my designs for the Bone broths product.
